We celebrate various festivals such as Eid, Christmas and Dewali in a non-religious manner by having a party, making related arts and crafts and informing the children about the particular occasion.

Educational Field Trips - Visits from professionals
Children can learn a lot from the environment and the community they live in. Young children naturally seek hands on experiences that will help them to understand the world they live in better.

Field trips are organised for children to enhance their learning experiences, develop an awareness of their environment and to sharpen their observation and social skills. Build their vocabularies through concrete experiences.
 

 
Parnts are most welcome to accompany their children on such trips.

Children may take part in a field trip with the prior consent of their parents. When a child joins the nursery, parents are asked to sign a form giving their permission for participation in such trips. Specific permission is also sought on each occasion a field visit is organised.

We also invite professional visitors to the nursery for simple talks and introduce them to the children such as doctors, dentists/hygienist, vets, Firemen, policemen, artists and craftsmen etc.

Snacks

The children need to bring all food and drinks requirements for the day. Cooled drinking bottled water is always available for them at the Nursery. The children have two snack/drinks breaks, and they eat under adult supervision. We encourage parents to send healthy snacks for the children to eat to encourage them to develop healthy eating habits. Please avoid chocolates, nuts, cakes, crisps, and fizzy drinks etc, except for special occasions. Please ensure that the lunch boxes are named and contain a chiller to keep the food fresh,

Transport Service

Supervised air-conditioned nursery transport equipped with child safe seats is available for children living in Jebel Ali Village, Al Muntaza Complex and The Gardens.
